I Love Penelope’s every time I come, the waitresses especially Suzy and waiters are always extremely pleasant and helpful. Lovely atmosphere for adults and kids. Food is lovely, excellent breakfast menu, pizzas unreal, and dessert counter full of delicious cakes and ice cream! Would highly recommend!
FAMILY FUN DAY AT THE RESTAURANT. KIDS LOVED THE BOUNCY CASTLES. REALLY GOOD ATMOSPHERE SITTING OUTSIDE TO EAT. GOOD MUSIC. GREAT STAFF. GREAT DRINKS WILL BE BACK VERY SOON
What a vibe! We had Sunday roast which was very tasty and extremely big portions. The cocktails and desserts was also very yummy! And the price was very reasonable. Very well organised and loved the garden area.
Unfortunately the poor chef had just cut his hand as we arrived for our booking. However, this did not spoil our experience at all. There was a short delay with the food (understandably - poor chef!) but we were kept updated and when it arrived the food was absolutely delicious. A complimentary slice of red velvet cake for my mum, the birthday girl, went down a treat. Will definitely be back!
A very cute, quintessential country venue. Warmly welcomed at the door and promptly greeted by our waitperson. Our drinks did take a little while to get to us, but that is to be expected when it’s busy. Our food (breakfast) was amazing. Tasty and beautifully presented on the plate. Yum! There is a selection of giftware in the shop. Definitely a place to meet family and friends
Fantastic little hiden gem. Food and service is outstanding and the portion sizes are well worth the cost. Sunday roast is huge, biggest Yorkshire puddings! Definitely worth another visit, the staff are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Sarah, our waitress was absolutely phenomenal, gave us the feeling of being old friends which made the service even more special.
Had an amazing evening at Penelope’s Restaurant and Farm Shop with family. The service was fantastic – the manager was so welcoming and attentive. We chose from the set menu and the food was absolutely delicious and great value. Loved the live music, and the staff really got everyone involved. Such a warm, friendly atmosphere – can’t wait to go back!
Really nice place and a very large outdoor area. Food was tasty and staff were friendly. Would be nice to sit outside in the summer.
